Motion Graphics for Royal Military College

Adobe After Effects CS4 Motion Graphics Workshop at The Royal Military College
The excitement about the arrival of our HD DSLR gear has delayed this entry a bit. On March 2nd to 4th, we successfully conducted our new Motion Graphics Workshop to The Royal Military College. Despite having to go through the Military Police checkpoints again, we were happy to meet with Sargent Azmi's team again.

Producing motion graphics with AE is easy if you fully understand the basics
We have a new participant in our class this time round, Sargent Suhaimi from the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Together with Sargent Azmi, we have two NCOs in our class.

Jaff receives his Certification of Completion for Motion Graphics Workshop
I had fun teaching them After Effects CS4. Most importantly, our participants understood the basic principles of animation with keyframing. Our Novice Level course also covered some of the more basic plug-ins, photo montages, the practical use of Nested Composition and Output & Rendering.

Irma is awarded the Certificate of Completion for Motion Graphics Workshop
By the end of the 3 days, our participants have managed to create their very own multiple layered animations. Our only lady participant, Irma did very well too. She had to miss a few hours of class to send her child to the clinic but she was always more or less ahead of the pack.

Sargeant Suhaimi receives his Certificate of Completion for Motion Graphics Workshop
On a personal note, I was quite impressed with Sgt. Suhaimi who was quite adept with AfterEffects despite not attending our Video Editing Workshop (the rest had up to Intermediate Level certification).

Sargeant Azmi has a collection of Certificates of Completion from WolFang Digital!
Now the academic team at The Royal Military College is ready with Motion Graphics skills. I'm looking forward to see their motion graphics work, I'm sure they'll make us proud
