University Malaysia- Teaching Film Making Up North
Baron flew up north to University Malaysia Kelantan to train the lecturers and tutors on the principles of film making which covered cinematography, film editing and chroma key lighting/removal. The faculty of Creative Technology and Heritage were attentive and asked challenging questions most notably regarding green screen lighting and removal techniques. Continue reading

Mixing it up with Pitbull
It was a sensational night. We were entertained by DJ Blink and Xu, DJ Roger Shah, Grammy Award Winning Italian DJ Benny Benassi, Hard Dance Queen DJ Lisa Lashes and Mr. MIAMI himself, Pitbull. The party was Chivas 12 Hours. An eagerly anticipated event where 6 internationally acclaimed DJs performed for 12 hours to a crowd of more than 6,000 party goers. This night was significant to us because we shot it with two cameras: Canon EOS 7D and Sony EX3. This is a HD production with a dedicated video camera and a DSLR. Motion Graphics for Royal Military College
We have a new participant in our class this time round, Sargent Suhaimi from the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Together with Sargent Azmi, we have two NCOs in our class. I had fun teaching them After Effects CS4. Most importantly, our participants understood the basic principles of animation with keyframing. Our Novice Level course also covered some of the more basic plug-ins, photo montages, the practical use of Nested Composition and Output & Rendering. Continue reading
